Released for the first time in 1989 by Amiga, Shadow of the Beast has attracted many players for its implementation and its atmosphere. The franchise has signed a comeback two years ago, as part of a reboot on PlayStation 4, conducted by the independent studio Heavy Spectrum Entertainment Labs.

The title had benefited from some more details as part of E3 2015, including its output getting ready on January 27, 2016 on PlayStation Network. With the approach of the fateful date, the PlayStation Store has changed the launch date to view an outlet for 2nd March.

No detail has been filtered on the reasons for this postponement of last minute but one can strongly bet that more time is required by the studio to finalize development to its game more effectively, expected by a community of nostalgic.

Shadow of the Beast is the second prominent PSN game that was postponed at short notice. In another news, already reported on the weekend, the twin-stick shooter “Alienation” will see a delay in its release on March 23, 2016 instead of March 2, 2016 that was targeted.
