Metal Gear Online PC Open Beta download available via Steam
Konami has recently announced the arrival of an open beta for Metal Gear Online on PC, allowing fans of Metal Gear Solid 5 to engage in clashes in multiplayer. This trial version is available today via the Steam platform.
Available for a few months, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain offers a solo experience, multiplayer game having been integrated into a new version of Metal Gear Online (MGO). This title is available for several weeks on gaming consoles, but is preparing to arrive in early 2016 on PC.
Robert Allen Peeler, community manager for Konami, revealed on the Steam platform that an open beta of Metal Gear Online is available this Tuesday, January 12, 2016. The Open Beta testing for the PC version of Metal Gear Online will begin on January 12, 10PM PT. However, the company warned that a delay of several hours is possible.
Participation in Beta is quite easy: just right click on Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain in the Steam client list > Properties > Betas – Select Beta. Be aware that some players have reported a problem: while Beta is activated, previous backups are not available in single-player mode.
For now, no specific date has been advanced as to the release of the final version of Metal Gear Online on PC.
