As part of an interview with the producer of several games in the Resident Evil series, we learn that a new episode of the famous survival horror from Capcom is slated for announcement in 2016. Could this be the long awaited Resident Evil 7?
Very popular with fans of survival horror, the Resident Evil series has seduced thrill seekers until early 2000. Indeed, the most recent episodes have disappointed the fans of the first hour, especially due to orientation action to the detriment of the atmosphere and gameplay based on survival.
After the cold shower of Resident Evil 6, players always expect a return with a bang with a probable Resident Evil 7. The confirmation of the latter is soon to be felt, especially as Capcom intends to announce a new episode that would be another spin-off of the franchise.
The Japanese site 4Gamer recently spoke with Masachika Kawata, producer of Resident Evil Revelations (among others), who announced “I think 2016 will be a year that will focus on various things. First, we will distribute Resident Evil Umbrella Corps for lovers of shooter game, but besides that, I think we may be able to make a number of interesting announcements this year. So stay tuned.”
Now it only remains to wait until the confirmation of the next installment of Resident Evil game.
