Have you always wanted to control Yennefer, Triss, Shani or Ciri in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt? It is now possible using a PC mod. A video is shown at the end of this article that makes the possibilities.
Certainly one of the best games released this year, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt stands as a very good role play game signed by CD Projekt RED. The new series has benefited from several free DLC after the release of the game, and a first extension – Hearts of Stone – to be followed by a second add-on in 2016.
Meanwhile, the modders are having a heart of joy with the title. While there are some such as HD Reworked stand out, another mod has been rather interesting for players who wish to control another character than Geralt of Rivia.
Indeed, it is possible to embody Triss, Yennefer, Ciri or Shani in the extension of Hearts of Stone.
The mod is available for download on NexusMods but still is revealed to be incomplete: animations and voice will always be those of Geralt during combat actions and in some parts of dialogs and cutscenes. Below is the complete details of the mod:
This mod changes playable Geralt to Triss, Yennefer, Ciri or Shani. Tested on Steam version 1.11 and can’t guarantee working at another versions. This mod may be incompatible with mods that uses xml editing. Character has Geralt’s animations during combat actions and in some parts of dialogs and cutscenes.
Ps. To fix bug with starting walking with sword just press shift (run button on joystick). Mod not working with Nilfgaardian,Temerian or Skellige armor sets DLC. To play as another character you need to delete previous files of this mod! Character has Geralt’s voice and sounds! Not working with New Game+ for now.
