Metal Gear Online is getting New Maps, Survival Mode and more

Konami has recently confirmed that additional content will soon be added to Metal Gear Online, the multiplayer addiction of Metal Gear Solid 5. New maps and an additional game mode are already revealed by the publisher.

It was not clear who would continue the Hideo Kojima’s departure after the closure of Kojima Productions and the US Department of Metal Gear Online works, but it seems that Konami somehow has solved this problem. According to the twitter announcement it is not only a new episode produced, but the Phantom Pain fans will also receive more new content.

Available for a few weeks on gaming consoles, Metal Gear Online will come out in January 2016 on PC. This multiplayer game is based on the mechanics of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, offering a gameplay quite effective and adapted to online gaming.

Konami has announced via its Twitter account that additional content for MGO will soon be available to PC players. Indeed, the Japanese publisher has teased via its twitter account including a DLC of new multiplayer maps, as well as a survival mode, among others.

For now, the details are still pretty scarce, but Konami intends to provide more details in the few days/weeks.

Rest apart, you all might be knowing that the creator of the cult series Metal Gear Solid will work on an “PS4 exclusives”, in collaboration with Sony PlayStation. Although very little or no information has been revealed for the moment, it is important to note that Hideo Kojima is now at the head of a new Kojima Productions studio.
