EA: Need for Speed Heat Won’t Release on Nintendo Switch
The relationship between Electronic Arts and Nintendo has had several ups and downs over the years, despite some recent openings that have led the publisher to bring several titles to Nintendo Switch. Unfortunately, it does not seem to be the case for Need for Speed Heat, the last chapter of EA’s famous underground racing series.
The title was in fact announced for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, which should have already sounded an alarm bell for Nintendo Switch owners, and now the absence of the game on the hybrid console from the Big N has been confirmed by Kevin Johnson, Community Engagement Specialist for EA.
“Thanks for the question, we currently have no plans to release NFS Heat on any other platforms other than what we’ve already announced,” Johnson answered with a specific question.
In short, there is nothing to do for those who hoped to enjoy the adrenaline-fueled illegal races of EA’s title on Nintendo Switch. In recent news, it was confirmed that NFS Heat can be played completely offline.
Need for Speed Heat will be available starting November 8th on PS4, PC and Xbox One. What do you think of the decision? Tell us in the comments below.
