Digital Foundry: Ghost of Tsushima Runs At 3200×1800 Checkerboard Resolution on PS4 Pro, Looks Like A Next-Gen Title
The fact that Ghost of Tsushima was one of the strongest games of Sony during the E3 2018, there is no doubt that various media have praised it. In terms of appearance, it’s easy to miss the samurai title for an upcoming game of PlayStation 5, which with its open environments and soft animations not only looks good for the eye, but also impresses the paper.
In the analysis of Digital Foundry, as you can see in the video at the bottom of this news, it appears that the game runs at a resolution of up to 3200x1800p with checkboarding implemented thanks to an impressive rendering length. Even the top-class physics and animations help Ghost of Tsushima reach heights that have rarely been seen in a console game.
Digital Foundry further claims that Ghost of Tsushima boasts such beautiful graphics that it looks like a next-gen game. Back from the excellent experience with inFAMOUS: Second Son, that had amazed because of its technical qualities despite having been conceived in the first part of the life cycle of PlayStation 4, the developers of Ghost of Tsushima have included in their new project an incredible amount of details, a visual distance even greater than that of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and a mix of physics and effects that can add dynamism to static sequences.
The open world developed by Sucker Punch appears to be extremely convincing, full of evocative landscapes but also of many interesting situations, ranging from solitary actions, with the silent elimination of the enemies, to the real duels to the white weapon, while the combat system of the game is revealed in all its thickness.
In recent news, Sucker Punch talked about the settings of the game. Ghost of Tsushima is still in development for PS4 and its release date is still not announced.
