Tokyo Ghoul: re Call to Exist Western Release Confirmed; Teaser Trailer Revealed

Bandai Namco confirmed a few weeks ago that it is working on Tokyo Ghoul: re Call to Exist, an action and survival title that will be released in Japan for PlayStation 4. The company shared more details of this project, so we know it will debut in the West.

Upon arrival in America and Europe, Tokyo Ghoul: re Call to Exist will not only be available for the Sony console, as it will also have a PC launch. The game is developed by the studio Three Rings, which worked on One Piece: Romance Dawn, and will be distributed by Bandai Namco.

As for the release date, there are still no details. The game will feature voices in Japanese and subtitles in English. Support with other languages has not been confirmed for now. Fortunately, we already have its first trailer, which shows a little of the action and the title bouts. You can see the trailer at the bottom of this news.

Tokyo Ghoul: re Call to Exist will be based on the manga and will focus mainly on the online multiplayer game, where your mission will be to survive and destroy your rivals. You can join the games, up to 8 players, such as Ghouls or Investigators.

The game will take characters from various arcs of the series, such as Tokyo Ghoul, Toyko Ghoul √A, and Tokyo Ghoul: re. Each playable character will have unique abilities and weaponry, including Kagune or Quinque. Probably, companies will subsequently show the different characters and their abilities in action.

It is expected that Bandai Namco will soon detail its gameplay mechanics and reveal a possible launch window.
