Day of the Tentacle Remastered release date and trailer revealed
The studio Double Fine freshly unveiled a first trailer of the HD reissue of Day of the Tentacle, famous point & click game from LucasArts that will make its return in 2016 on PC and gaming consoles. The release date has also started to narrow down.
Double Fine, the studio of Tim Schafer, has already risen Grim Fandango, famous point & click game which marked the end of the genre at LucasArts. Revealed for the first time last year, Day of the Tentacle Remastered stands as the next title that will pass into the hands of the development studio to improve its visual appearance.
For those who have never tried this title since its release in 1993, know that this is one of the best title of its kind, highlighting caustic humor and quality gameplay although some puzzles are really drawn by fuzziness.
Double Fine has recently released a first trailer of remastering of the following Maniac Mansion, highlighting excerpts from the original version, before focusing on the smooth graphics. As had been the case with Grim Fandango Remastered, it will be possible to move from the 1993 version to the 2006 version with a simple touch. Comments from developers can be heard during gameplay as well.
Day of the Tentacle Remastered will be marketed in March 2016 on PC, Mac, PS4 and PS Vita. Watch the trailer below:
