Yooka-Laylee Toybox demo download available in July

Those who have invested in Yooka-Laylee can expect a playable demo of the game.
Developer Playtonic Games has announced that there will be a demo in the form of ‘The Toybox’. If description is adamant, it will be perceived as “a detached (spoiler-free) sandbox” which will be given to the players for an impression of the upcoming game.
It will only be available in July for those who have invested a certain amount from the Kickstarter project. Only donors who have deposited at least £20 to access the demo available from July.
The update on Kickstarter has also published information about the objects to gather players in the game. The first object is called Butterfly Energy. In collecting these health and a power bar is refilled. The second collectible is hot Pagies that allows the user to “unlock and expand magical Grand Tomes caught in Hivory Towers”. Quills is the third object that is called and can be used to unlock new moves that can be chosen at random.
In addition to the demo, Playtonic has also revealed some details about the setting and plot of the game. This all can be read on the website of the company, but the biggest revelation is about the villain in the game.
Capital B is a businessman – appropriately – a bee. Its purpose is, inter alia, in order to steal all the literature in the world. Yooka Laylee must try to stop the bee in this game.
Playtonic Games so far is reluctant to disclose more information, but promised to do so in the coming weeks – especially during E3, where the game will also appears.
