Square Enix has announced the development of Valkyrie Anatomia: The Origin, a spin-off of Valkyrie Profile series that will land on a platform that is not yet confirmed. The first details are however disclosed.
Square Enix has recently launched a new teaser website for one of its next upcoming games. For once, called as Valkyrie Anatomia: The Origin, it is presented as a spin-off of Valkyrie Profile. The Japanese RPG fans obviously remember that license initiated by Enix in 1999 on PlayStation.
The license has experienced a series on PS2, a remake of the first game on PSP as well as a section dedicated to the Nintendo DS. Japanese publisher seems determined to offer an alternative adventure franchise, led to the blow by Yoshinori Yamagishi (producer of various aspects of Valkyrie Profile, among others).
Motoi Sakuraba will be commissioned to the music of the game, that does not yet have a defined platform. However, Square Enix said it will be a digital distribution during spring 2016 in Japan, implying a market on smartphones and tablets.
