In development for several years, the mod Diablo II: The Curse of Tristram for Starcraft 2 continues, so much so that the playable alpha is announced as part of a new gameplay video.
After being talked about three years ago, Diablo II: The Curse of Tristram is a mod for Starcraft 2 which is in development since 2010 by a developer known under the pseudonym “egod”. This long-term project is still active, since a new gameplay video – shown below – was recently put online, displaying enrichments especially made at the global interface.
According to information provided by the modder, the end result will be available as a free download for owners of Starcraft II. The distribution will be made in the form of custom maps on service Battle.net Arcade.
We also learn that the alpha version of this mod will be available during summer 2016, with no further details at this time.
