Until Dawn rumored to get ‘Rush of Blood’ DLC soon

The international magazine Destructoid reported on its website that they have received an e-mail – confirmed by more sources – which shows that Sony is preparing the ground for a DLC dedicated to Until Dawn, titled as Rush of Blood. The latter, it seems, would be very different from the main game, as it appears to be an on-rails first-person shooter, and should work with PlayStation VR.

Well you get transported around inside a mine cart; it’s very literally an on-rails experience. There are a few scattered jumpscares, as you’d expect, but I played the same 20 minute section twice (once with DS4, once with dual Move controllers), so I’m hoping the full DLC is a lot more padded out. I didn’t see which character I was playing as, I’m not sure if it’s specified, but no names were mentioned at all.
It starts off shooting targets in the snow, then moves toward a house and as you get deeper into the house, enemies start appearing (I believe they were Wendigos). The frequently reused jumpscare is the ‘ghost’ from inside the house in Until Dawn, who you end up fighting for the final area I played. Upon killing the ghost, the game would crash every time.
The display for virtual reality by Sony could then be the center of attention for this project. The player will thus be in a cart, then inside the mines as seen in the original chapter, all of it characterized by the presence of situations that can keep the player on the edge. In truth some voices point out that the risk of being in the presence of repetitive experience is particularly high, therefore developers should be working to enrich the whole game.
We are still expecting to find out more details about this possible DLC. Obviously, while waiting for official announcements by Sony and Supermassive Games, we invite you to treat these details as a rumor and nothing more.
In any case, would you love this kind of DLC for the exclusive game for PS4?
