Fallout 4 PC Discs will not contain Full Game Data, requires Steam download

Bethesda Softworks has taught us that the DVD (or disc) for the PC version of Fallout 4 will not contain all the data of the game. Also, the remaining information will be downloaded from the Steam platform; highlighting and title will not be free of DRM. While many players expect the output of Fallout 4 with certain impatience, the Bethesda Softworks studio has recently made an important point about the physical version of the game on PC. Indeed, the latter opts for the DVD media that does not contain all the data of the game.

Pete Hines, vice president of Bethesda Softworks, said on Twitter that the physical version of the game on PC will contain a DVD and a Steam key. In his words, the initial installation will be done with the DVD and the second step will be to activate the Steam key to download the remaining data set. “The disc doesn’t contain the entire game,” he states.
The reason for this rather restrictive solution was put in place simply by Hines because of too many game piracy’s on PC platform. Most unfortunately, this will not counter illegal copies of the game but will cause some complications to players who legally buy the physical version of the game.
Recall that Fallout 4 will be released on November 10, 2015 on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
