Ubisoft sends out Watch Dogs 2 promotional items to YouTubers
After speculation that Watch Dogs will have a new protagonist or that the game will have a very different tone, now Watch Dogs 2 is getting closer and closer day by day. A photo on Twitter showed a promotional material of the continued success of Ubisoft.
Earlier this year, Ubisoft confirmed the launch of Watch Dog 2 and a publication on social networks that has given a glimpse of the highly anticipated sequel. A YouTuber “TheRadBrad” shared an image of a promotional item of the game on his twitter account, you can see that below:

The Youtuber TheRadBrad received a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses with the logo of Watch Dogs 2. Ubisoft confirmed the existence of the item and provided the following statement to IGN website:
We are excited to reveal more about the next iteration of the Watch Dogs franchise very soon. Stay tuned!
The release date has not yet been confirmed, but it will be at some point next year, but it is likely that it will be released before April 2017. According to the CEO of Ubisoft, Yves Guillemot, this game will have a “new tone”. Probably we will have more news about the game during E3 2016.
The first Watch Dogs was released in 2014 and sold about 9 million copies. The game was widely criticized for staying below the quality shown in the first trailer, especially in versions for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
In 2012 the game was revealed in the pre-E3 presentation of Ubi with an impressive video showing a huge and full of world details and stunning visual effects even for today’s standards. But when the game was released in the first half of 2014, what we saw was quite different – and lower.
