Koei Tecmo and Studio 4°C, an animation studio, presented a short film set in the universe of Toukiden advanced by events of the new game, Toukiden 2. In it we see clashes between Slayers and the Oni, the creatures that we hunt.

The sequel is committed to a new open world that connects forests, caves and volcanoes. The player can fight in many lands and encountering a demon battles begin without transition. There will be change between day and night, new weapons and Oni spirits.
Toukiden 2 will launch on PlayStation 4, PS3 and PS Vita, on July 28 in Japan. Koei Tecmo has also announced through the latest issue of Famitsu that a new demo of the game will be available on July 21 on the Japanese PlayStation Store. In addition to this, we learn that the save game of the demo will be imported in the final game.
At the moment still it has not been confirmed nor said anything about a possible launch in the West, although the former has released in the region.
