The Xbox One and PlayStation 4 entry in 2016 come true in their third year of operation. Suffice to say the age of maturity for a console of video games. The exclusiveness began to bloom on both sides, and each side counts the points. After starting 2014 with a bang with a better powered consoles park and top-flight games (Driveclub, etc), the year 2015 for the exclusives side became more discreet for Sony with a somewhat disappointing game The Order 1886, but an excellent Bloodborne and a surprising Until Dawn game.

A more than respectable wine but an aura undermined by Xbox, which had drawn heavy to catch up with its delay. Forza Motorsport 6 for making engines roar, Halo 5 Guardians, the reference of the multiplayer FPS, and especially Rise of The Tomb Raider, the ultimate casual game which it managed to snatch exclusivity. An year-end cannonball for Microsoft’s console, freed from spectrum of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End postponed until 2016. Meanwhile waiting for Gears of War 4 and Fable Legends.

And with the great return of the adventurer Nathan Drake, the PS4 will rise up again and return to its core, for the game, after playing the card of virtual reality at the end of the year to mark its difference. No, Microsoft has not quite unsheathed in 2015. The US giant has kept under wraps for the new year and in particular the next blockbuster, Quantum Break. The story of a scientist who finds himself with the power to play with time and create temporal gaps. Obviously, this does not please the Monarch company that planned to take over the world, has power almost similar and therefore spear in pursuit. This is the Finnish studio Remedy (Alan Wake, Max Payne) behind this album, which relies heavily on narration.

Dark Souls III – From Software (PS4, Xbox One and PC) – April 12, 2016

A universe cumbersome and deadly. The plot is based on the resurrection of the Lord Ash, although doubts remain about possible links with the two previous episodes. You’ll have to fight stronger enemies than the other. Like the good old times. Bigger and darker, Dark Souls III is the “turning point” awaited by fans after a DS2 slightly below. Visually, we noticed that the paw, Bloodborne, the PS4 exclusivity, is past thereby. And we can only rejoice.
