The Witcher 3 Patch 1.07 was recently released. A video test done by DigitalFoundary shows that there is a bit of issue with the new patch. Games work quite well on Xbox One compared to PS4. The reason lies with changes done by the patch. There were certain drops in the FPS. Usually patches bring up more fixes and better output due to which the game works well and we had seen that The Witcher 3 patches brings up lot of changes and better output. But somehow the new patch is causing issues with the fps drop. But this test is done by DigitalFoundary and they had also uploaded a video of the same on YouTube. The video below shows up clear comparison of the fps drop. Till yet this is not reported by a user. There was lot of patches released in past few months for this game.
The patch logs are quite large showing up many fixes and updates. But this is the first time we had seen that a patch has some issues and from the game developers end there are no updates. Overall this does not look like a major issue unless the game has severe performance problem. This can be resolved by upcoming patches. It is found that the game performance on Xbox One is lot better than PS4. As per the video that we had seen there is around 20fps drop after the update. But other than this there are no major issues in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The game still performs well and has no major problem yet with the new patch. Check the patch comparison video below:
