Star Wars Battlefront 3 Fan Remake to Release on Steam soon
Recreated by the remnants of Star Wars Battlefront 3, Galaxy in Turmoil is being developed through the studio of Frontwire Studios. The latter has reached an agreement with Valve to distribute a free game on the download platform of Steam.
Originally in development at Free Radical there several years ago, Star Wars Battlefront 3 was canceled when its design was nearly complete. The project was taken over by Frontwire Studios and, in view of developing a remake based on the work done originally.
Baptized for the occasion as Star Wars: Galaxy in Turmoil, the project is about to come out soon. Indeed, Frontwire Studios said on its official website that it has reached an agreement with Valve to distribute its game on the Steam platform.
“It is with great pleasure that as of today I am able to officially announce that Frontwire Studios has officially signed a distribution deal with Steam/Valve for the game Galaxy in Turmoil,” says Tony Fergie Romanelli, the Frontwire boss, on its official website.
“After ongoing discussion between Valve representatives and myself, Valve/Steam has agreed to ship Galaxy in Turmoil to its millions of users for FREE.”
To avoid conflict with Disney – which owns the rights to the license of George Lucas – Frontwire Studios offer to download this remake of Star Wars Battlefront 3 for free.
Recall that the title is designed with the graphics engine of Unreal Engine 4. A recent trailer reveals the current result of the project, whose launch date has not yet been communicated.
