Square-Enix is ​​working on a Dragon Quest game based on Unreal Engine 4

Square-Enix is looking for a technical director for a new project related to the Dragon Quest series, developed with the Unreal Engine 4. This is what emerges from a recent job announcement published by the Japanese company.


In the announcement, Square-Enix openly quotes the Dragon Quest series, thus making it clear the will to start working on a new franchise of the game.

As a Dragon Quest series technical artist, you will perform the following duties:

1. Creation of shaders in Unreal Engine 4
2. Inspection, as well as proposal, of expression techniques in order to enhance quality
3. Artist workflow organization and improvement
4. Coordinate with team leads
