Fable Anniversary & Fable II Pub Games now playable on Xbox One via backward compatibility
All users of Xbox One are getting great advantage of having a great catalog of games not only of the current generation but also for the Xbox 360 thanks to the backward compatibility of games that grows day by day.
This same list will increase considerably enough from November, with the release of the Xbox One X, as the owners of the new and most powerful Microsoft console will have backward compatibility available to the titles of the first Xbox.
Recently, Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb, programming director of Xbox LIVE, announced today more backward compatibility titles are coming to Xbox One, news that will make Fable fans happy.
So, from now on, Xbox One users will be able to play Fable Anniversary and Fable II Pub Games. With these titles, the main Fable series is now available on the current Microsoft console.
Fable Anniversary came out in 2013 and is a remastered edition of the title that debuted originally on the first Xbox. For its part, Fable II Pub Games is a digital collection of 3 mini-games that appeared in Fable II.
In related information, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Sonic Adventure also joined the backward compatibility program last week. Other Xbox 360 titles available on Xbox One are Halo: CE Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST and Halo 4.
