Rumor: Mario Kart 8 Nintendo Switch version will feature new tracks, playable characters and more
After having suggested a possible postponement for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the insider Emily Rogers has released new rumor on the Switch version of Mario Kart 8, but it was never announced officially but confirmed on several occasions by various rumors that was also showed in the first trailer of the console’s presentation.
Leaks about the Switch and games continue to go well. After the titles of the console launch catalog, it is now turn of the next Mario Kart for Nintendo Switch. Emily Rogers, the insider known for the quality of her information about Nintendo, has just published an article in which she evokes the version of the racing game for the Switch.
As reported by Rogers, Mario Kart 8 on Nintendo Switch benefit from all of the Wii U edition content (DLC included) but also present new tracks and additional characters, as well as a renewed battle mode.
And according to sources of Emily Rogers, the game will be released in the first quarter of the console launch, so in the period between March and June, MK8 on Nintendo Switch could therefore not be one of the launch titles of the new platform.
The Kyoto company would take note of user feedback in this regard and would work to implement not only on the improvements but also on a massive exploitation of Nintendo Switch feature. The development of the game is pratically complete.
