Rocket League upcoming patch will bring up more game stability and fixes that would reduce PS4 fan noise. The patch is carrying some update related to visual optimization as well. That will automatically reduce the fan noise. When the fan noise is high this simply means the PSU is heating. And due to overheating the fan speeds up at faster RPM. Overall this is not a major issue or can cause any kind of hardware problem; it is an internal mechanism that is built to tackle the heat.
