Quantum Break New PC Patch Download Available Now, Includes Frame Rate Fixes
For those still interested to try the Quantum Break experience on PC, despite the many problems that continued to pepper on the Windows 10 version of the game, you can start up the Internet connection now as a new corrective patch has arrived for the game.
With the modest size of the patch (27GB) that Remedy has released, in order to solve some of the many problems that marred the PC version of Quantum Break. On the program, players now have the ability to disable in-game TV screen images which were sometimes grainy, and will have an option to “Exit game” in the menu.
Also, Remedy seems to have found a way to correct problems associated with the use of G-Sync, as well as the treatment of Reconstruction Tech which is now switched off. Remember, it can display the image in a certain resolution from a lower resolution, and to relieve the framerate. Finally, the patch should incorporate all the changes that Xbox One players have already benefited last Wednesday, and affecting the general flow of the game (better management of collisions, the pathfinding characters, save games, etc).
It remains a concern that was not addressed: one that generates recurring crashes because of graphics drivers on some GPUs. On this point, the Remedy teams have already confirmed that they had identified the problem, that is a faulty memory management in Windows 10, but it would take an action from Microsoft before things improve. Meanwhile, the developer recommends to reduce the level of graphical effects to reduce the frequency of crashes.
