Microsoft currently offers to the owners of Xbox One and Xbox 360 to download the first episode of King’s Quest, a new title from the famous typical point & click license born in 1984.
Some former amateur gamers of adventure type game of point & click certainly know the King’s Quest license, initiated by Sierra On-Line in 1984. After several episodes released until 1998, the franchise has fallen into oblivion. However, the studio The Odd Gentlemen handed the series to date.
Simply called as King’s Quest, this comeback is performed either as a simple point and click, but a more dynamic adventure game. Distributed in the form of episodes in digital format, the title is intended rather generous in content.
After being offered for free on the PlayStation consoles last December, King’s Quest – Chapter 1: A Knight to Remember is currently available as a free download on Xbox Live for the Xbox One and Xbox 360 gaming consoles.
For the occasion, the Xbox Live Gold subscribers will enjoy a Season Pass at a price of 22.99 euros (instead of 29.99 euros) to take advantage of the five episodes and the epilogue’s ending adventure.
