Since the program of backwards compatibility with Xbox One was announced, an Xbox 360 title has been requested by the fans shouting for Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Although it has more than 207,000 votes on the feedback site of Xbox, there has been no news about its possible arrival towards the backward compatibility. Something that will cheer the fans is to know that they are not the only ones suffering for this, since Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, also wants the FPS to reach the Xbox One.
“Please don’t take my lack of response on BO2 as a lack of caring, I really want to see this come to backward compatibility,” Spencer said on his account Tiwtter.
While Spencer did not specify why Black Ops II has not reached the backward compatibility program, it is probably because they have not reached an agreement with Activision. As you know, dealers must give the go-ahead before the Xbox can launch an Xbox 360 title on Xbox One through backward compatibility.

The good news is that Activision has shown it is willing to take some of their last generation titles to Xbox One. As an example we have 4 titles such as Call of Duty – Call of Duty 2, Call of Duty 3, Call of Duty: World at War and Call of Duty: Black Ops – already available in the program of backward compatibility.
Just as promised by Spencer, January was a good month for fans of backward compatibility with the arrival of titles such as Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Battlefield 2, Mega Man 9 and Mega Man 10. With this, there are already more than 300 backward compatible titles with Xbox One
