Overwatch Release Date Leaked, Open Beta Starts at May 3 2016
After years of waiting, Overwatch is set to release during this spring as announced by Blizzard at the last BlizzCon. Today, a leaked advertising from the IGN website allows us to discover the release date of the game, and the launch of the Open Beta.
For those who do not know, Overwatch is a multiplayer shooter game in which two teams compete on various maps with varied objectives. Taking of position, strategic point defense, convoy escort missions are some of the tasks that you have to perform as a team. The title is exciting, with over 20 playable characters and features a unique gameplay.
As shown in an advertising by the IGN website that leaked last night, and was spotted by one of the NeoGAF forum user, Overwatch should come out on May 24th, and we also discover that an open beta phase is scheduled from 3rd May to all players who decide to pre-order the game. Remember, Overwatch will be available on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
At the moment, the portal has removed all promotional content related to the game of Blizzard, it is possible that the campaign has been launched ahead of schedule, probably by mistake.
However, we are still waiting for an official announcement from Blizzard, which should arrive in the next few hours or a few days.
