Nintendo announces Splatoon 2 demo open for all on March 24-26

Nintendo has announced the first open beta of Global Testfire for Splatoon 2, the new installment of its paint shooter. And it will be very soon release, in the same month of launch of the new console, so that its users will provide feedback and finish off the development before the full version is released in the summer.


Nintendo has announced that there will be a public beta of Splatoon 2 between the 24th and 26th of March to which all players can be added who have a Nintendo Switch.

On the weekend of March 24-26, owners of a newly purchased Nintendo Switch will be able to download the Splatoon 2 demo and play on the proposed online rounds. As happened with the original, the games will be not available all day, only in periods of one hour marked by the company.

This Global Testfire will be held at the following dates and times:

March 24 (Friday):
8-8:59pm PT
12-12:59pm PT

March 25 (Saturday):
4-4:59am PT
12-12:59pm PT
8-8:59pm PT

March 26 (Sunday):
4-4:59am PT

The tests are worldwide, hence the schedules in some cases are not the most comfortable for European users.

During these tests, players will be able to test four different weapons, including the new Splat Dualies, as well as revised versions of Splat Roller and Splat Charger.

The launch of the game will take place during the months of summer.
