NieR Automata runs at 1080p on PS4 Pro and 900p on PlayStation 4
Through a streaming, Square Enix producer Yosuke Saito and producer of Platinum Games, Eijiro Nishimura revealed features that Nier: Automata will have on PlayStation 4 Pro.
The game will run at 60 frames per second on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro, but there will be differences in resolution. The standard version will run at 1600 x 900, while the game on PS4 Pro will run in native at 1080p. The companies also made it clear that the game will not be compatible with 4K on any platform.
Also, for the version of PS4 Pro there will be better visuals and the game will look smoother thanks to a motion blur effect. Nier: Automata will also feature more advanced lighting, atmospheric effects and improved details in scenes and shadows.
Although the version for PlayStation 4 Pro was not shown during the event, the studio released some screenshots to illustrate the differences between consoles that you can see above.
And if that was not enough, during this stream, Square Enix and Platinum Games showed extensive gameplay of Nier: Automata, the same you can see below at the end of this article.
Nier: Automata will come to North America in the forthcoming year of March 7, 2017 for PlayStation 4 and PC. The game will feature different editions, and one of them includes a YoRHa figure 2B.
