Neverwinter Nights, Baldur’s Gate & More Coming to Consoles

There is excellent news for fans of role-playing games, since Skybound Games and Beamdog will bring a total of 6 classic PC titles from the genre to consoles. The list includes Neverwinter Nights, Icewind Dale, Planescape: Torment and more.

The companies did not disclose the consoles that will receive the games, but they clarified that they are preparing ports of the improved versions of each title. Thus, players can enjoy Baldur’s Gate: Enhanced Edition, Baldurs Gate II: Enhanced Edition and Baldurs Gate: Siege of Dragonspear.

The surprises do not end there, since Skybound Games and Beamdog are also working to bring Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition, Icewind Dale: Enhanced Edition and Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition to consoles.

We will have to wait for the companies to confirm it, but it is likely that all the mentioned titles will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and even Nintendo Switch. For now, there are no tentative release dates, but the games are expected to debut this year.
