Monster Hunter World Ships More Than 6 Million Units, Becomes Fastest Selling Capcom Game
Capcom announced that Monster Hunter World has reached and exceeded 6 million copies distributed worldwide since its launch, which includes both units shipped to resellers and digital downloads from PlayStation Store and Xbox Store.
In just three days from the launch there are 5 million units distributed for Monster Hunter World, and now, according to reports, the copies distributed worldwide and digital sales exceeded six million.
This game becomes the fastest selling title in the series ever to have reached the milestone of six million copies, out of these over 1.5 million were sold at launch in Japan, which made Monster Hunter World the best selling PS4 game ever in Asia.
But the news does not end here because Capcom has also released the 1.05 patch on PlayStation 4 and 1.0.0.10 update on Xbox One, these two updates solve various bugs, including a technical problem with the correct assignment of the 5 Million Celebration Item Pack, whose availability has been extended until February 22nd.
Finally, the updated calendar of upcoming challenges has been published, thanks to which we discover the return of the highly acclaimed event of Horizon Zero Dawn, scheduled from February 28th to March 16th only on PlayStation 4.
