Metroid Prime 4 Confirmed To Be Developed By Bandai Namco
Tom Phillips of Eurogamer.net has confirmed the rumors that have been circulating for a few weeks. Many sources, believed to be reliable, would have indeed confirmed that Bandai Namco Studios Singapore is working on Metroid Prime 4 under the supervision of Nintendo.
For some time now, Bandai Namco has been involved in the project of Metroid Prime 4 and now rumors seem to have been confirmed. Bandai Namco Studios Singapore is a newborn team composed largely of former members of LucasArts Singapore who have worked on numerous titles, including Star Wars 1313.
The same studio would also be working on Ridge Racer 8 for Nintendo Switch but this title would not have found confirmation yet. It is not the first time that Bandai Namco has collaborated with Nintendo, the company has in fact developed Super Smash Bros for 3DS and Wii U, as well as Pokken Tournament.
Metroid Prime 4 was announced at E3 2017, but Nintendo did not share any more information about the project. The company did not confirm the studio responsible for the game and only said that Retro Studios was not working on the game.
Eurogamer.net has contacted Nintendo for further clarification but a spokesperson has confined himself to declaring that the company does not comment on rumor and speculation.
