During a recent interview on the website Challenges.fr, the Vice President of Sony Interactive Entertainment Europe has cited that The Last Guardian and Gran Turismo Sport are among the titles for the PlayStation 4 to be released in the course of 2016.
According to the words of Phillipe Cardon, “This will be a better year for the software and a very big year for the hardware. We expect to sell many consoles yet. And then there Uncharted 4: a Thief’s End, the Sony event for this year. This is our biggest release of the year with Gran Turismo and the return of The Last Guardian. And of course, the PlayStation VR arrives.”
Of course, it is also possible that Cardon has cited Gran Turismo Sport without intending a full release of the game in 2016, but rather the release of a beta, perhaps in conjunction with the launch of PlayStation 4 NEO. Apparently, there is no doubt however for The Last Guardian, as confirmed many times, the title will see the release by the end of 2016.
If the news is confirmed, it would be a truly remarkable year for Sony and for all owners of PS4, waiting for the autumn-winter period.
