The head of The Coalition, Rod Fergusson and lead multiplayer designer Ryan Cleven spoke for a few minutes before the finals of the Gears of War ESL Pro League Season 1.
In addition to showing the trailer again presented at E3 2015 in Los Angeles, the two developers have shown the game statistics of Gears of War Ultimate Edition, you can find them below, and have also answered some questions about the remastered of the first chapter and Gears of War 4.
Rod Fergusson has confirmed the launch in fall 2016 for the new chapter of Gears of War, and noted that the title will arrive on the shelves and in the store of digital Xbox One, as it has been confirmed the multiplayer beta coming in during the spring time.
Fergusson has also revealed, however, as was widely expected, that Gears of War, Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3 and Gears of War: Judgement are all among the nine most popular games among more than 100 available with backward compatibility on Xbox One.
Ryan Cleven and the same Fergusson have also explained that the multiplayer of Gears of War 4 will have a lot of maps all with high levels of detail and are specially designed to involve all the fans of the saga, and that the choices of the multiplayer modes are hearing a lot the feedback from the community.
Finally, the developers have revealed that they learned a lot from the development of the remastered edition of first episode, that from the other three chapters of the franchise, and that some elements seen in Judgement will be reported in the next chapter.
Unfortunately no new footage was shown, at least so far, during the finals of the Gears of War ESL Pro League Season 1, which is currently under the final for 1st and 2nd place.
