Officially due for release tomorrow, Fallout 4 benefits already with its first mod which improves the graphics rendering of this post-apocalyptic RPG game.
Although it is due for release tomorrow November 10, 2015 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, Fallout 4 is in the hands of a few players since the end of last week, the distributors who obtained the title of Bethesda few days before it went on sale. If we knew of some addicts of this RPG game are working on mods for several months, the first one is now available for download. This is a SweetFX mod that allows to slightly improve the overall rendering of the graphics.
You can download this mod at this address, the installation instructions are also specified in the same link and below. Recall that at the same time Bethesda Softworks plans to release its Mod Kit from the beginning of 2016, allowing many players to implement new content for the title on both PC and gaming console.
Follow the below steps on how to install this mod in your Fallout 4 game directory:
- First, you need to download all the files from the link given above to your desktop.
- After that install either Winrar or Winzip and then extract the contents of the files that you have downloaded on your desktop.
- Now, you just have to place all the extracted files in the root of Fallout 4 game directory, which should be located here – C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Fallout 4.
- Now just run your copy of Fallout 4 game normally through its exe file and it will load with the new SweetFX Preset.
