F1 2015 is the latest racing game that was released just a few days ago. The game is released on different platforms that include consoles and PC. The game is very impressive this time as it comes with a lot of benefits. When it comes to racing games, then the developer really does not have much to give to the gamers. But if you see F1 2015 it would be a kind of exception. It is one of the best racing simulation games with high end graphics and lot of competition. The game is also going to come at a very high end resolution on Xbox One. That won’t be possible on the PC edition. In this short guide I am going to give you different steps through which you can simply enhance the gaming output and make it a lot better.

F1 2015 Crash Fix:-
Crash on installation is quite common when the game setup is not proper. You have to simply go ahead and check whether the setup or DVD of game you have is working fine or not. If after two or three tries it does not work then you have to contact the vendor and get a replacement for the same. After installation if the game crashes then it might be happening due to the old graphics card drivers, you will need to update it to the latest version of the drivers to solve the crash to desktop problem.
F1 2015 not working on Network:-
F1 2015 has a multiplayer mode. You can play and compete with your friends over LAN and internet. If the game is not working while you are trying to connect to other players then you have to check the following things below:
- Turn off your Antivirus for some time.
- Disable Firewall or add the game under Firewall Exclusion list.
- Open TCP 3074 and UDB 3074 port
F1 2015 No Audio:-
If while playing you are not getting audio in the game then go in the game settings and see that the audio level is set to max. Second thing you can do is try to update your audio drivers. That can be done by finding the right drivers on the basis of your motherboard model.
Poor FPS of F1 2015 on consoles:-
This is a common bug where when you try to play the game it might lag or stutter in between. And this is common on consoles also where players have downloaded the game. You have to delete the same from the hard drive and then run the game from Disk. The fps issue will be resolved.
Poor FPS of F1 2015 on PC:-
On PC if you are playing the game and you are not getting a good fps then it is due to various reasons. I am providing one by one solution below that will help you to fix the fps issue:
- Update your GPU Video Drivers
- Defrag your hard drive and then try to run the game back
- Deleting the replay files of F1 2015 will also help you in fixing the issue. You have to go in game installation folder and delete replay.pbf file. You can find that in C:\ProgramData\Codemasters\FormulaOne\DataCache. Just go in the folder and then delete the replay.pbf file from. This will be recreated back again.
Car Jumping Bug on Online Gameplay:-
F1 2015 has an online mode also. Here you can compete with various players online and get more challenges in racing. But sometime you might see that opponent’s cars might jump from one end to another instead of passing smoothly from sides. This is because the game lags a bit when you are playing online. Here you have to do below things to fix the issue:
- Check you are having a high speed internet connection. Run the ping command and verify that the internet is constantly running and not breaking in between.
- Disable your security software for sometime.
- Reduce your screen resolution for low lagging.
- Update your LAN/Ethernet drivers for better output.
F1 2015 stuck on Window Mode in PC:-
A few might be facing issue when they are trying to play the game. When you launch the game, it might start on Windowed Mode. For that you just have to hit Alt + Enter keys from the keyboard. Just press the key combination and the game will automatically go to full screen.
D3DCompiler_42.dll missing error when starting F1 2015 on PC:-
If you are facing an issue with a dll file missing when you are trying to play game, then you have to install the latest version of DirectX in your system. If you had already installed it then remove the old one and then try installing it back again. The game setup itself comes with the latest DirectX setup. You can try installing that.
F1 2015 Keyboard Setting Greyed out on PC:-
This is another common issue when you are trying to make changes in the game control. You won’t be able to do any modification as the settings are greyed out. This is a common issue as the game is unable to detect the game controller. This is the default input option for playing the game. To fix that follow the below steps:
- Go in the Game settings and then go in My Control
- Go in the Control Profile. You can find this under Keyboard options.
- From here most of the time the game will automatically identify the connected controller. But if not then try to select the keyboard from here.
- You can also select custom that you can find under Control Profile. Just click on Edit Setup.
- You can then press appropriate keys from the keyboard to setup your own controls for the game.
