F1 2015 is the latest racing game that was released just a few days ago. The game is released on different platforms that include consoles and PC. The game is very impressive this time as it comes with a lot of benefits. When it comes to racing games, then the developer really does not have much to give to the gamers. But if you see F1 2015 it would be a kind of exception. It is one of the best racing simulation games with high end graphics and lot of competition. The game is also going to come at a very high end resolution on Xbox One. That won’t be possible on the PC edition. Crash on installation is quite common when the game setup is not proper. You have to simply go ahead and check whether the setup or DVD of game you have is working fine or not. If after two or three tries it does not work then you have to contact the vendor and get a replacement for the same. After installation if the game crashes then it might be happening due to the old graphics card drivers, you will need to update it to the latest version of the drivers to solve the crash to desktop problem.

But sometime you might see that opponent’s cars might jump from one end to another instead of passing smoothly from sides. This is because the game lags a bit when you are playing online. Here you have to do below things to fix the issue:

A few might be facing issue when they are trying to play the game. When you launch the game, it might start on Windowed Mode. For that you just have to hit Alt + Enter keys from the keyboard. Just press the key combination and the game will automatically go to full screen.

D3DCompiler_42.dll missing error when starting F1 2015 on PC:-

If you are facing an issue with a dll file missing when you are trying to play game, then you have to install the latest version of DirectX in your system. If you had already installed it then remove the old one and then try installing it back again. The game setup itself comes with the latest DirectX setup. You can try installing that.

F1 2015 Keyboard Setting Greyed out on PC:-

This is another common issue when you are trying to make changes in the game control. You won’t be able to do any modification as the settings are greyed out. This is a common issue as the game is unable to detect the game controller. This is the default input option for playing the game. To fix that follow the below steps:

  1. Go in the Game settings and then go in My Control
  2. Go in the Control Profile. You can find this under Keyboard options.
  3. From here most of the time the game will automatically identify the connected controller. But if not then try to select the keyboard from here.
  4. You can also select custom that you can find under Control Profile. Just click on Edit Setup.
  5. You can then press appropriate keys from the keyboard to setup your own controls for the game.
