Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 DLC download available a month early on PS4 and PS3
The partnership between Sony and Activision for Call Of Duty Black Ops III is now sifted.
After weeks of rumors, Sony and Activision have formalized their partnership around Call of Duty Black Ops III during E3 2015. As a result, the Japanese manufacturer will be entitled to exclusive beta and the DLC that will be available first on PS4 and PS3. As you know, it was Microsoft in recent years that was entitled to preferential treatment but the fact that PlayStation has got a strong partnership with Activision on Destiny has clearly changed this tactics.
Adam Boyes, who is in charge of relations with third editors at PlayStation, recently spoke with Kotaku about this change of sides for Call Of Duty Black Ops III. Thus we learn that in addition to the beta, many players will receive the PlayStation DLC available with 30 days in advance of the competition. This is actually the same contract that Microsoft had spent in recent years. After those 30 days, the DLC also comes just towards the Xbox and PC. In any case, Sony has publishers in its pocket since the Japanese brand has also partnered with Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, EA’s Star Wars Battlefront or Square Enix’s Hitman. All this could be realized with very interesting bundles for the holidays to ensure its Sony outpacing the Xbox One. The latter certainly has fabulous exclusives for late 2015 but will that be enough to return the players face this juggernaut that is the PS4? The answer will come in a few months.
In any case, Call Of Duty Black Ops III will be available on November 6, 2015 on PS4, Xbox One, PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
