Simply ensure that your graphics card driver is upto date, installed with the latest drivers, and secondly try to play Batman Arkham Knight in Windowed Mode to avoid all sort of flickering and stuttering issue. Batman Arkham Knight Unlock 30FPS CAP:
Batman Arkham Knight is dealing with heavy performance issue on PC edition. The reason lies with the DRM and few other things in the games. As per the game developer they are working on a fix. Till the time you can simply try playing the game on 30fps. This would be not so great but the game will at least work well. Turn off Motion Blur, disable extra graphics settings and set a standard resolution. Also, you can try to verify game file integrity through Steam to correct any missing files issues.
The fps can also drop due to Nvidia Gameworks. But there is no option available to turn it off. The game can still work on old drivers, but you will face performance issue at maximum resolution. Turn off options like hairworks, hbao+, etc; to get more fps. Batman Arkham Knight is protected by Denuvo DRM due to which the game has high disk read and write activity that puts heavy impact on the game output.
Go to Steam\steamapps\common\BatmanArkhamKnights\BMGame\Config and look for BMsystemSettings.ini file. Create a copy of this file first. Here you can boost the fps to 60 by modifying MaxFPS= 30.000000. Modify the value to 60.000000. If you are unable to find the file look for UserSystemSettings.ini and try playing the game. If the game crashes then simply restore the old file back.
Turn off Motion Blur for FPS gain:
By turning off the motion blur you can gain more fps. For that, go to Steam\steamapps\common\BatmanArkhamKnights\BMGame\Config. Look for BMSystemSettings.ini and open it in notepad. Search for MotionBlur. Set the value to False.
Batman Arkham Knight Skip Intro Videos:
To skip intro videos in Batman Arkham Knight, just go to Steam\steamapps\common\batman2\BmGame\Movies folder and search for two files, namely StartupNV.swf and Startup.swf, rename them to something else. Don’t forget to backup these files, somewhere on your desktop, if anything goes wrong. After that, try to launch the game without the intro videos.
Turn off Startup Logos for fast game launch:
The startup logo in the game can delay the game launch. It is easy to turn them off. For that you have to move two files from the parent directory. They are Intro_BM3Logo_fire.usm and nv_logo_usm. Go in the game installation folder. That is most probably Steam\steamapps\common\Batman Arkham Knights\BMGame\Movies. Do not delete these files, just move them somewhere else.
