Burnout Revenge Available on Xbox One Thanks To Backwards Compatibility

The voice of the community made it listen! After several requests and months of waiting, Microsoft and Electronic Arts decided it was time to please their fans with the arrival of Burnout Revenge to the Xbox One backward compatibility program.

Once again, Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb, the programming director of Xbox LIVE, was responsible for announcing the arrival of new titles to the backward compatibility program. So, through his Twitter account, the manager mentioned that Burnout Revenge joined the system today, so you can now play its version for Xbox 360 on your Xbox One.

As in the past, if you want to play Burnout Revenge on Xbox One, the first thing you have to do is insert the disc into your console. Once you do, the download of the game will start and when you finish you can enjoy it. Of course, it is important to know that the disk should be on your console every time you want to play. On the other hand, those who have it in digital format only have to look for it in their digital collection and download it to the console.

As you surely know, Burnout Revenge is an extreme racing game developed by Criterion Games and distributed by Electronic Arts. The title that came to Xbox, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 2 is considered by many to be the best installment of the series, so surely several will be happy with its arrival to backward compatibility.

We take advantage of the fact that we talked about the backward compatibility program to tell you that in the last weeks it received games like Dragon Age II, Saints Row 2, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II and Jade Empire. In addition, Microsoft revealed that it is a feature very used by the owners of Xbox One.
