Many Star Wars Xbox Original Games Now Backward Compatible with Xbox One
In the most recent episode of Inside Xbox, a lot of titles of the first Xbox for the backwards compatible program of Xbox One was announced. This attracted the attention of many since among them they are some games of Star Wars that are of the favorites of the fans of the saga. For this reason, we believe that many will be happy to know that they can already play on the current generation console.
Through a Twitter post, Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb, the director of programming for Xbox LIVE, announced that Star Wars: Battlefront; Star Wars: Battlefront II; Star Wars Jedi Academy; Star Wars: Jedi Starfighter; Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II and Star Wars Republic Commando are already part of the backwards compatibility list. So, if you have any of them you can insert it in your console to relive old times.
Do you think that’s not enough? Well, then you should know that there are more games that are part of the backwards compatibility program. What we mean is that Destroy All Humans!, Full Spectrum Warrior, Mercenaries, MX Unleashed and Panzer Elite Action are already backward compatible with Xbox One.
We remind you that the arrival of titles of the Xbox Original to the backward compatibility with Xbox One was announced in E3 2017. Keep in mind that bringing titles from this console to the current generation is more complicated than doing it with the Xbox 360, so you should not expect so many.
And what about you, are you excited by the arrival of these titles to the backward compatibility program? What other Xbox Original title would you like to enjoy on Xbox One? Tell us in the comments below.
