Batman: Arkham Knight now available for PC with 12GB of RAM requirement on Windows 10

Finally back on Steam, the PC version of Batman Arkham Knight is still having some problems here and there. Despite compensations offered to players, the Rocksteady studio made a clarification regarding the owners of Windows 10.

Following a catastrophic launch a few months ago on PC, Batman Arkham Knight is back on the Steam download platform. Despite an upgrade performed by Rocksteady studio, there are still some technical problems. To calm the crowds, the editor of Warner Bros. offers all games in the series of Batman Arkham to players who initially bought Batman Arkham Knight, but also those with the acquisition by 16 November.
However, a note of Rocksteady on Steam indicates that the title is not yet fully optimized. “As we confirmed earlier today, the PC version of the game now supports all add-on content that has been released thus far for console. The configurations for this content are being updated now and we expect everything to be available in the next few hours. We’ll confirm when this process is completed” they had said in the same note. Also, there is no multi-GPU support appropriate still, but the studio said it is working with its partners to bring SLI and Crossfire compatibility. It is also stated that a hard drive paging issue with some GPUs on Windows 7 can occur after a few hours of play. At that, Rocksteady advises to simply restart the game.
More worryingly, it is recommended for Windows 10 users to have 12GB of RAM to run Batman: Arkham Knight in good conditions. With this statement, it is clear that Rocksteady admits that its game is not really optimized, especially that it runs “only” on an enhanced version of Unreal Engine 3.
