Amplitude to launch in April for PS3

Players who own a PS3 will have to wait a little while before seeing the Amplitude HD version on this old generation console from Sony, as Harmonix finally gives us news of this version on its Kickstarter page.
Basically, Harmonix tells us simply that the PS3 version is complete, and that the title is currently even on the side of Sony certification phase. So developers also hope to see the game happen in a few weeks, this April, until suddenly more on its release date.
“First up, PS3 version: It’s done! We’re submitting it to Sony certification today. The certification and release process takes a couple weeks, but you’ll be able to get your Sixaxis controllers all up in Amplitude’s business in April. We’re hoping for early April, but I’ll let you know when we have a confirmed date locked down.”
At the same time all Kickstarter supporters from today might be forwarded their digital goodies, including the artbook, following the physical Rewards shortly after the PS3 release.
The gameplay matching perfect beats remain the central element of Amplitude – more than 30 songs help to create even more diversity in our ears. The soundtrack is also used to tell the story of the game.
The new Amplitude soundtrack is a collaboration of the in-house musicians at Harmonix and famous game composers like Darren Korb (Transistor), C418 (Minecraft), Danny B (Crypt of the Necrodancer) and Jim Guthrie (Below). There are also Tracks that come from Kickstarter backers and development studios such as Insomniac Games (Ratchet & Clank) and Lab Zero (Skullgirls).
At the moment we do not know precisely the date on which the game will be launched for the PS3 but the developer Harmonix will surely make other announcements in the coming days. PS3 users will have to wait, and remember that Amplitude HD is a remake of the original game released in 2003, and acquires competitive and cooperative multiplayer up to 4 players.
