Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair Announced by Playtonic

Playtonic Games, studio better known by Yooka-Laylee, excited yesterday all its followers and fans of its platform, because it hinted the revelation of a new title. Early in the morning, the company revealed that it will continue working in the universe of Yooka-Laylee, so it announced a sequel. The game is called Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair. The title does not have a release date yet, but the good news is that it will be available sometime this year.
Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair is in development for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and PC. Team17 will be responsible for the distribution of the new title. The company confirmed a physical and digital launch in 2019.
The title will retain the colorful aesthetic of the first installment. The main difference is that Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair will have 2.5D levels with a side view and at other times with a top-down perspective. Below I leave you with the first trailer of the game.
Another excellent news is that the game will have a soundtrack by David Wise and Grant Kirkhope. As you can see, the characters will have several types of movements, which will serve to kill the enemies and even to discover some secrets.
Playtonic Games confirmed that we will know more about the new title in the framework of E3 2019. Probably in the E3 2019 event, we will see more gameplay and know a release date, as well as release editions.
