Xbox One User Interface Will Change & Look A Bit Like The PS4
Microsoft is committed to delivering the best possible experience for its players. This is why it is constantly working on the settings for Xbox One and, thanks to this, the user interface of the console will change. The result will be a new Home menu that reminds us a bit of the PlayStation 4.
Through an Xbox Wire post, Microsoft announced that it wants the Xbox One Home menu to deliver a simpler and uninterrupted experience. The main change is that the tabs have now disappeared at the top of the menu and its place will be occupied by buttons that can take you to Game Pass, Mixer or the Microsoft store. In addition, several changes were made so that there is more space to show the games you played recently. You can take a look at the new version of the Home menu at the top of this news.
Now, you should keep in mind that this is not the only thing Microsoft is planning. What we mean is that it will remove Cortana from Xbox One so that it is only available from devices connected to the cloud. That is, you will not be able to communicate with her using a headset and you will have to do it with the Alexa Skill or with a mobile device.
It is important to note that these interface changes are barely available for Xbox Insiders at Alpha and Alpha Skip Ahead levels. So, you will have to wait a bit before you can try it. This also means that the interface could receive more changes when it reaches the public.
