Nesbox will not come to Xbox One, despite passing the certification of the store of Microsoft. Its creators have posted a message on Twitter with the company’s response for its application.

“Your product was unpublished globally or from specific markets,” and would have asked to remove compatibility with Xbox, and not so with Windows 10.

The developers expected that by means of the universal platform it will give access of this free emulator to Xbox One, and indeed the certificate last week seemed to indicate that it would.

Nesbox is defined as a “multiplatform emulator of video consoles” and allows us to play titles of NES, Super Nintendo, Mega Drive and Game Boy Color/Advance.

The possibility of a withdrawal was always present, especially the part that affects Nintendo, who in recent times has proved tough against initiatives such as amateur games using licenses of its most famous sagas.

One of the many features that would have with this version was the ability to enjoy the games in full screen, and of course with the Xbox One. Something very interesting and attractive for those who wanted to have a legal emulator for Xbox consoles in the old store.
