It is possible that Batman fans will receive the occasional surprise at Gamescom 2019, the next appointment for players to be held in Cologne (Germany) from August 20 to 24. And recently, Amazon has reserved a kind of placeholders for the next game of WB Games Montreal, before removing them. Given the proximity of Gamescom, everything indicates that the German event could bring the occasional surprise.
It has been some time since Batman: Arkham Origins was published by WB Games Montreal, in October 2013. Since then, there have been a series of rumors about its next project. On the one hand, the title dedicated to the Suicide Squad game was canceled, although the studio continued to work on a new Batman Arkham game starring Damian Wayne, son of Bruce Wayne.
However, previous rumors have ended up suggesting that this new title would be a direct sequel to Origins, and would star Batman and Robin (Dick Grayson). An important leak indicated that the game would be called Batman: Arkham Crisis. It would focus on the saga The Court of Owls and allow us to tour the huge city of Gotham. In addition, the sources indicated that it would release in October or November.
For now, we can only wait for Gamescom 2019 to reveal more information about this expected project. We remind you that the German event will be held from August 20 to 24.
