Nintendo has announced that today, on November 17, two new titles of Excitebike 64 and Wario Land: Shake It! will be available on the Virtual Console of Wii U.
As every week, the eShop is already filtering out some of the titles that becomes available on the morning in American territory as part of the weekly downloads. In this case we get confirmation for Excitebike 64, originally released for Nintendo 64 and Wario Land: Shake It! of Wii.
If you’re a fan of Nintendo, you know that Wario Land: Shake It! was released for Wii in 2008, but it will now be available on Wii U for $19.99 USD. It is a platform title that uses the Wii Remote to perform some important actions during levels. Remember that these controllers also work on Wii U, so you can play as you like.
On the other hand there is Excitebike 64, a dirtbike racing game in which players can do some somersaults in the air. But that’s not all, because this title includes the first Excitebike, originally released for the NES in 1984. The Wii U version will cost $9.99 USD.
Remember that other titles that debuted on Wii U Virtual Console this year are Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Super Mario RPG, Animal Crossing: Wild World, Kirby: Canvas Curse and Super Mario 64 DS. Moreover, Pokémon Snap was released on Wii U in Europe, but so far no information about its North American version is given yet.
