Blizzard Entertainment is now taking care of its classic games released decades ago, because the strategy game Warcraft 3 will also shortly get a new patch.
This week, Blizzard Entertainment has released a new patch for the 16-year-old game Diablo 2. Now, Robert BrideBecker, chief of Classic Games Group at Blizzard, confirmed in the video of “Back2Warcraft”, that the strategy classic game Warcraft 3 will also receive a patch. Warcraft 3 came in 2002 on the market.
The patch version is 1.27 that will arrive on March 15, 2016 all over the world for Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos. This should be a first step of a long journey, but still Blizzard Entertainment has not revealed what all changes and improvements are there onboard. Professionals and experts are betting on a strong game balance, weakening the human race that dominated in recent international tournaments. Moreover, the well known hero Blademaster is one of the big bets to get the famous “nerfs”.
The ad also cites new online tools such as improved matchmakings and a platform with more quality ping during matches. There is also the possibility of new heroes and units in their debut game, but many fans dismiss this idea. The latest patch for Warcraft 3 has appeared more than five years ago.
