Unravel developer Coldwood Interactive signs new deal with EA

Having aroused interest among the players, Unravel benefits with a second episode. Indeed, the Coldwood Interactive studio has signed a new agreement with Electronic Arts publisher to design a series of adventures for Yarny.

Unravel will be entitled to a new suite now. The news has been confirmed by a representative of Electronic Arts in an interview with Polygon.

The information was released after the announcement of a new partnership with the Coldwood Interactive studio, the original developer of adventure puzzle game in which players assume the role Yarny, a hero made of strings.

“At EA, we love working with creative and passionate development teams, in our own studios and our partners. Which is why I’m very pleased to announce that we’ve signed a new agreement with Coldwood to work with them on their next project.”

Available since February on PC and gaming consoles (only in digital format), Unravel comes as a great surprise that captivated players in its initial announcement. The studio Coldwood Interactive worked finely on the aesthetic part of its platform game, also ensuring a smooth ambiance.

Because of its originality, the stock has found its audience. Better yet, we learn through the website Polygon that a sequel is in the works. Indeed, Coldwood Interactive has signed a deal with the EA publisher to develop Unravel 2.

For now, no further details was given as to what this new episode of the adventures of Yarny will offer. We hope to learn more about this game in the E3 2016 framed in June.
